The construction industry in Singapore plays a vital role in our economic growth, therefore comprehensive effort has been pumped in for safety training in this industry.
With the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act in place, all workers are kept safe at work, through instruction and safety awareness training. Even so, occupational injury rates among construction workers are highest among the major industries. A large proportion of these accidents are a result of workers who are new to the industry and are unaware of the dangers around construction sites.
An accident by the nature of its word is just an accident, all employers have a duty to train and instruct their workforce an insight to the dangers they may face when they carry out their tasks on the construction sites.
