1. What are the Various Registration & Payment Methods?

  • Via the Counter

    Payment of course fees over the counter can be made via cash, nets or cheque. Cheque must be made payable to NTUC LearningHub Pte Ltd.

  • Via the Web at www.ntuclearninghub.com

    • Reservation of Seats

      Reservation of seats over the web is valid for 3 days only until payment is made. Seats will only be confirmed when payment via the counter/V-post/SAM/SingPost has been made.

    • Registration of Seats

      Visa and Master payment is accepted for online registration of seats

  • Via Post

    Completed application forms accompanied by cheque payments must be returned to:

Important Note:
Payments must be made at least 3 days before the class starts for applications over the counter or by post.
Online Registrations close 4 days before the class starts.
Online Reservations/Registrations for WSH courses require a company code. Please refer to point 3 for steps on how to get your company code.

4. Will I Receive any Confirmation Letter as Proof of my Registration?

Confirmation Letters will be sent out only for mailed-in registrations. For payments over the counter / V-post / SAM / SingPost, there will have only be receipts issued which will serve as proofs of registrations as well.

5. What are the Policies on Deferments/Replacements/Refunds & Transfers?

  • Deferment of Classes

    • An administration charge of $10.70 applies at all times.
    • Deferment of classes will be allowed once only.
    • Written notice must be received by the WSH executive not less than 7 days before the commencement of the course, subjected to approval.

  • Replacement of Participant

    • Replacement of Participant with another person is allowed once only.
    • This is not allowed for courses which require entry qualifications i.e. pre-requisites.
    • Written notice and full particulars of the new participant must be received by the WSH executive not less than 7 working days before the commencement of the course.
    • An administration charge of $10.70 applies.

  • Refunds

    • Refund is allowed only before the class commences. A $10.70 administration fee charge applies if there is no documentary evidence of a valid reason.
    • No refund is allowed after course commencement.

  • Transfers

    • Transfer is allowed only before the class commences. A $10.70 administration fee charge applies if there is no documentary evidence of a valid reason.
    • No transfer is allowed after course commencement.

Kindly note that valid reasons constitute the following scenarios:
Medical reasons or hospitalization
Note: Official documentary proof is required for all stated above.

6. Will I get a Certificate after Attending the Course?

Upon completion of the course, the following will be issued:

  • For Workers level courses: Safety Pass
  • For Supervisors level courses: Safety Pass and Certificate of Achievement

Important Note :

  • 100% attendance is compulsory for Workers Courses
  • 75% attendance is compulsory for Supervisory Courses in order to be eligible for the examination

7. What Happens if I Lose my Safety Pass/Certificate of Achievement?

Replacement of Safety Pass

  • Produce a copy of the police report and any form of identification (with photo)
  • A fee of $5 applies for replacement of a safety pass

Note: A one-to-one exchange (at no cost incurred) for the safety pass is applicable only if the name of the participant is printed wrongly.
Processing of the safety pass replacement takes approximately 5 working days.

Replacement of Certificate of Achievement

  • Produce a copy of the police report and any form of identification (with photo)
  • A fee of $20 applies for replacement of a certificate of achievement

Note: Processing of the certificate of achievement takes approximately 5 working days.

8. Will NTUC LearningHub inform the Ministry of Manpower that my Staff has Gone for Training?

Yes, NTUC LearningHub will do so upon the trainees' completion of the course. This is applicable only for the

  • Construction Safety Orientation Course (General Trade),
  • Building Construction Safety Supervisor course,
  • Shipyard Safety Instruction Course (General Trade) &
  • Shipyard Supervisors Safety Course.

9. What do I have to Bring on the First Day of Class?

  • A passport-sized photo must be submitted at the beginning of the class for the issue of the safety pass. This is applicable for Mandatory Courses.
  • A copy of the payment receipt and NRIC must be with the participant at all times. For work permit and employment pass holders, a passport or photocopy of it and the Approval In Principle letter (which must be visibly clear enough) OR work permit, employment pass must be with the participant at all times. Otherwise, you will be barred from attending the examination. Refund will not be applicable in such case.

  • NTUC LearningHub reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule the class without prior notice. However, NTUC LearningHub will do its best to notify you once there is a change in class schedules.
