Course Overview
Workplace Literacy
Workplace Literacy trains workers in the skills of Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing in the English language in a real-life context. Each trainee will have to take an initial assessment using a Computer Adaptive Test (CAT) on English literacy and numeracy before the trainee is placed into the most suitable level of training programme. There are three levels for Workplace Literacy:
Service Literacy Program
The Service Literacy Program prepares service industry employees for the Service Literacy Test (SLT). It consists of three tracks:
· Track 1 - for learners who have minimal basic knowledge in listening and speaking English.
· Track 2 - for learners who have knowledge of English and need to enhance their listening and speaking skills.
· Track 3 - for learners who need a quick revision before the Service Literacy Test

Basic Conversational English for Migrant Workers (NEW!)
Basic Conversational English Course allows the learners to communicate using basic phrases and sentencens to handle some difficulty situations in everyday life. The course is designed for Migrant Workers who want to improve or develop their English speaking, listening and reading skills. The course available is:
Basic Conversational English - Level 2 (This course will be discontinued after 30 June 2010)
Basic Conversational English Course allows the learners to develop Basic English skills for everyday life. The course is designed for Migrant Workers who want to improve or develop their English speaking, listening and reading skills. The courses available are:
