WSQ Manufacturing
NTUC LearningHub Manufacturing Training & Assessment (MTA) Centre offers training courses for the manufacturing industry which are accredited by the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA) and developed from the WDA's Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) framework. The Generic Manufacturing Skills WSQ is a national skills training system developed by various sectors in the Manufacturing Industry and the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA). It offers a systematic pathway that aims to equip the workforce with vital industry skills and knowledge to enhance competency, increase operational productivity and professionalism within the industry. More than 12,000 workers have benefited from these courses since October 2007, enabling them to skill up for increased productivity and cost efficiency.
WSQ Security
We are proud to offer practical, relevant and hands-on training for security practitioners under the Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) for the Security Industry. This framework is launched by the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA) and contains the competency elements which will set the standards for all unarmed security officers in Singapore. The private security industry is an industry of paramount importance in ensuring the safety of our nation’s infrastructure and economic well-being. The Security WSQ was developed with the aim to enhance the overall standard and professionalism of the private security industry.
