Target Audience

This practical workshop is designed for all staff of logistics companies to learn about one’s presentation style and others. Under the guidance of trainer-coach, participants are led to a discovery of their strengths and areas of improvements in their current level of presentation skills and coached for targeted improvement.

Course Overview

This interactive one-day workshop will equip working professionals with the knowledge and skills to conduct presentations to management, customers or business partners with confidence and ease. There will be lots of opportunities for participants to discover their strengths and areas of improvements in their current level of presentation skills.

1 day : 9 am to 6 pm (8 hours)

Course Outline

At the end of the program, participants will be able to :

- Overcome their fears of public speaking.
- Build rapport and credibility with their audience members.
- Develop skills to think on their feet for impromptu speeches.
- Plan and structure their presentations from initial concept, writing, storyboard and rehearsal to facilities, equipment, visual aids and final delivery to engage their audience with appropriate visuals
- Incorporate adult learning principles to enhance audience attention and retention
- Apply body language techniques to project confidence and professionalism in their presentations
- Easily integrate the practical guidance on using the techniques of powerpoint to increase presentation effectiveness

Funding Info

The course is an Approved-in-Principle (AIP) course under the SDF EasyNet with a support level of $4.00 per training hour for SMEs only. (Please note that the AIP status is subjected to renewal by the Skills Development Fund.) Sponsoring companies who fulfill the following criteria, are required to pay only the unsupported portion of the course fee to association :

- Participants must be Singaporeans or Permanent Residents or 3-year Work Permit Holders.
- Companies must be registered in Singapore and bear the full training cost.
- Only company cheques are allowed for payment of course fees.

As the association endeavour to qualify the course for renewal of AIP status each year, all sponsoring companies are required to sign a letter of undertaking in which they will undertake to bear the portion supported by the Skills Development Fund to the association should their sponsored staff fail to achieve 75% attendance and/or are absent from the examination.
