Target Audience

All staff who are servicing the customers particularly in the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical/Chemical industries. Supervisory levels namely manager, supervisor and officer responsible in running the warehouse and inventory of dangerous products.

Course Overview

Common incidents may happen anytime while running a day-to-day DG or chemical warehouse. With more and more dangerous cargoes being stored in the warehouse, workers and supervisors may loose control of what that is in and what that is out from the warehouse. When a chemical spillage occurs in the warehouse, for instance, this is the turning point whether the company has geared itself towards establishing a correct Emergency Response Plan and/or other safety measures in creating escape route from the disastrous workplace and providing sufficient safety kits for the staff. The objective of this seminar is structured for Logistics Service Providers in particularly to :

- What, when and who to device ERP processes for such occurrences
- How to implement those ERP processes

Funding Info

The course is an Approved-in-Principle (AIP) course under the SDF EasyNet with a support level of $2.00 per training hour. (Please note that the AIP status is subjected to renewal by the Skills Development Fund.) Sponsoring companies who fulfill the following criteria, are required to pay only the unsupported portion of the course fee to association :

- Participants must be Singaporeans or Permanent Residents or 3-year Work Permit Holders.
- Companies must be registered in Singapore and bear the full training cost.
- Only company cheques are allowed for payment of course fees.

As the association endeavour to qualify the course for renewal of AIP status each year, all sponsoring companies are required to sign a letter of undertaking in which they will undertake to bear the portion supported by the Skills Development Fund to the association should their sponsored staff fail to achieve 75% attendance and/or are absent from the examination.
