Management Team

Zee Yoong Kang

Chief Executive Officer

Since joining NTUC in 2003, Zee has served as Director with JobLink and Job Re-creation Departments. He was also the founding CEO of NTUC's Employment and Employability Institute.

Prior to joining NTUC, Zee worked at Bain and Co, handling projects related to the IT, heavy engineering, FMCG and Government sectors. He also served in the Singapore Administrative Service, holding senior positions in the Prime Minister's Office, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of National Development.

Zee was educated at Oxford University (BA, Hons, Philosophy, Politics and Economics) and the University of Chicago (MBA, Hons, Finance and Strategy). He is a member of the Board of Governors of Temasek Polytechnic and the Institute of Technical Education; as well as Commanding Officer of the 700 Battalion, Singapore Infantry Regiment.

 

Dr Chan Mun Kitt

Director
Business Development

Dr. Chan leads the Business Development Unit at LHUB™. Prior to this, he was a General Manager for the Workplace Safety and Health unit for three years.

Mun Kitt also worked at the NTUC Admin and Research Unit where he set up its one-stop customer service and call centre. He has been actively involved in human resource and industrial relations issues as well.

Dr Chan was educated at Nanyang Technological University (BBus), Chartered Institute of Marketing, U.K. (GradDipM), PSB Academy (Cert™), and the University of Leicester (MBA). He attained his Doctorate in Education(EdD) from the University of Durham

 

Suresh H Punjabi

Director
Industry Skills

Suresh is responsible for the growth of the Industry Skills unit which includes Vocational and Technical Training (VTT) programmes such as WSQ Security and Manufacturing, NSRS Cleaning, Trade and Pharmaceutical training.

Prior to this, he was the General Manager for Business Development, helping to launch the first vocational training programmes for LHUB while leading business development activities with strategic partners and new clients. He was also General Manager for Continuing Education and Training (CET). Suresh was instrumental in the launch of the Soft Skills offerings and Employability Camps as well as implementation of WSQ - Employability Skills system in LHUB

Suresh was educated at the University of Wales (BSc, Hons, Business Computing and IT) and Nanyang Technological University (MA, Education Management).


Cindy Tan

Director
People and Capability Management

Cindy spearheads the Human Resource and Capability Management Departments. She is also responsible for setting standards and policies for trainer management, curriculum development, trainer performance management and quality of the LHUB™ training delivery experience. Prior to joining LHUB™, Cindy held human resource management and development positions in various dynamic organisations within the retail industry.

 


Chin Hon Fai

Director, Finance

Hon Fai brings with him over 15 years of experience in finance, human resource and strategic planning, and has helmed projects of international nature. His prior appointments include a management role in strategy and planning, as well as senior financial role at British-American Tobacco and Keppel offshore and Marine . As an independent management consultant, he has conducted market analysis and financial consultancy for a variety of organisations.

Hon Fai attained his Accountancy degree from Nanyang Technological University and has been a non-practising member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore since 1997. H completed his postgraduate studies in Finance Development at Cranefield University, London; Financial Modeling at Nanyang Technological University; and Marketing of FMCG in Asia (Insead of Business School). Hong Fai is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators


Robert Fu

Director
Sales and Marketing

Robert is responsible for Sales and Marketing and Customer Service.

Prior to joining LHUB™, he served in senior management roles with Jardine OneSolution and the CSA group, both locally and internationally. He had also served in the Ministry of the Environment, the Ministry of Education and the National Computer Board before joining the private sector.

Robert received a Bachelor of Applied Science (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto, Canada, and an MSc in Analysis, Design and Management of Information Systems from the London School of Economics, UK.


Richard Yap

Director
Operations Excellence

Richard is responsible for leading the quality and excellence initiatives, and improving the business processes and operational efficiency of the organisation.

With over 20 years of experience in general management and manufacturing, Richard has held senior management positions in various public-listed organisations, managing entire plants and operations located both locally and in the region, and actively leading many business improvement and quality initiatives.

He holds an MBA from Nanyang Technological University (Strategic Management), a Graduate Diploma in Marketing from the Marketing Institute of Singapore, an MSc in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the National University of Singapore and a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sheffield.
