Target Audience

This security training course is suitable for anyone who wants to start a career as a Security Supervisor or any Security officer who wants to upgrade themselves with supervisory skills for career advancement opportunities in the Security Industry.

Course Overview

This course equips the security personnel with knowledge and skills to be able to contribute to the management of security incidents and apply them to the work place.

Course Duration

24 Hrs (3 days) exclude assessment hours

Assessment

Approx. 2 hours per candidate (conducted by POLWEL assessor)

Course Outline

• Establish the various types of security incidents
• Deal with minor incidents (not involving authorities) at site
• Deal with major incidents (involving authorities) at site
• Submit incident report and attend to post-incident activity

Pre-requisites

Participants with the following competency ratings from the Employability Skills System are eligible:
Listening/Speaking Min. Level 6
Reading/Writing Min. Level 6
Numeracy Min. Level 5
